Vince Migliorato is a resident of the front range mountain area of Conifer, Colorado. He is one of the lucky guys that on any given day can look out of his window and see a six point bull elk or a trophy mule deer. He has been visited by bear and mountain lion.
Vince has crafted fine longbows for himself and friends for many years. After Vince's retirement 3 years ago, he now has the time to further pursue his passion in making longbows. Now we all have the opportunity to own one or more of his outstanding longbows.
The Mohawk Longbow has an "old school" appeal that is in contrast to those who prefer the more modern designs. The Mohawk has a mild reflex/deflex, and when strung looks like a "D" bow. The Mohawk has the more traditional longbow lines of a "D" bow, and the benefits of being very quiet, but without the hand shock normally associated. Don't be fooled by the old school design, these bows are smooth and fast. Vince offers the bow in a two piece takedown using the Robertson hinge system.
Many shooters are coming to this bow for the classic design and quiet shooting. When a customer from Australia brought home a Mohawk bow it wasn't long before two of his friends ordered Mohawk's as well. This wasn't the first time a non Colorado native generated several Mohawk customers after bringing his bow to another state, or country for that matter. Mohawk longbows can be custom ordered with delivery in 5 to 6 weeks.
"I believe that the Spirit and Mohawk longbows are among the finest bows and best values available today. Most of these bows are priced between $450 and $525. In my opinion these bows are as good or better than any bows within $250."
